Sarah is a main character in the eponymous Sarah & Duck series.
Biography[]
Sarah is a polite seven-year old girl who loves to play the tuba, likes to watch sea cows, and likes drinking lemon water. She is best friends with Duck, who she met one snowy day when she was much younger in Duck Flies. She is childish and she loves to make anything into an adventure. For example, setting up a tennis game in their yard, using multicolored plastic to make pretty lights, and even setting up a full-scale game in the yard after Duck was upset with his computer game.
Appearance[]
Sarah has big eyes and short black hair. She wears a pink striped hoodie jacket, black tights, brown shoes, and a green bobble hat that Scarf Lady knitted for her (see episode Hat Fuss). Underneath her jacket is a pink dress with a duck design on the front. Her pyjamas are also pink, with a design of two ducks on the front. When she is at the seaside or swimming, she wears a pink-white striped swimsuit and green sandals. When it rains she wears a yellow rain jacket and replaces her green hat with a yellow one.
Interests[]
Sarah plays the tuba, and drinks lemon water a lot. Her favourite animal is the sea cow. Sarah is also into collecting stickers in Sticker Swap, as she's been attempting for a while to find a sea cow in sticker packs in order to finish her sticker book, only to get unlucky and find eleven dolphins.
Trivia[]
- Sarah's age has never been mentioned on screen, only in supplementary content such as series descriptions.
- Sarah and John could be considered counterparts of each other, as they're both kids that own birds of the opposite gender.
- They also both have pyjamas featuring designs of their respective birds.
- Speculation: Sarah's attachment to specific items and animals- such as her clothing, sea cows, lemons, and Duck himself- as well as some of her mannerisms has led to a fan theory that she is autistic/neurodivergent.
